Happy Valentine's Day!

Yeah it's Valentine's Day today... And here I am, taking my break (??) from studying...

Valentine's had nothing to do with me for the past 23+ years. Hahahaha! And it will remain so for the next few years, it seems. :p

My classmate sent me a message that said "You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams - Dr. Seuss"... Indeed, I am SO not in love. 'Coz I'd rather dream and meet Yunho in my dreams. XD

For anyone who's reading this and has a special someone on Valentine's day, I hope you'll enjoy this special once-a-year event. ^_^

Find the hidden Mickey... Pathology lab time. XD

Yep, yep... We found the hidden Mickey. ^_^

It's nice that we can find little fun in what we do... It keeps us sane and alive. ^_^

*Note: the pathologic diagnosis for the slide in this picture is PULMONARY EDEMA. For those who are curious. Hihihi. ^_^

Happy Birthday my dearest Jung Yunho! XD

Happy happy happy birthday!!! Saeng-il chukahaeyo oppa! Otanjoubi omedeto~u!!! \(^o^)/

He turned 24 today... XD And he's getting hotter and hotter by the year... No, it's BY THE DAY. Beat that. XD

And I have another reason to celebrate this wonderful day...
My package from Japan arrived!!! XD So now I have my copies of Break Out single (CD+DVD and CD) and the Mirotic Concert DVD. XD
Although I can't watch the DVD yet... That should be added to my bucket list before internship starts. :p

I hope Yunho will have a great day today. ^_^

Great day!!! XD

I had such a fruitful day today!!! XD

I went to the mall with my mom after classes... just to chill... And ended up buying stuff I didn't expect I'd find!

First of all is the Mirotic Repackage Album of TVXQ! (my all-time favorite artists!!!). I knew SM Entertainment albums have been sold in the Philippines recently, but I didn't know this is one of them!!! XD I was so excited to see the poster in the window, and I entered the record store right away to take a look. The price was INSANE!!! It was soooooooo cheap! Well it's made in the Philippines, but so what??? That doesn't mean they don't care at all about quality control, right??? And I got a free poster, too!!! Kyaaaaaaaa! XD Oh and the album was the uncensored version. The Mirotic track had its original lyrics intact. I was sooooo glad. XD

Next is the Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner! I really wanted to buy this when I went to Japan, but I totally forgot about it and missed the chance to purchase it! I was interested in it 'coz I saw in the commercial countless of times that it was the best-selling eyeliner in Japan. And as we all know, the Japanese women wear make-up as a part of "etiquette" everyday... So if it's well-approved by the Japanese women, it must be really good!! I was really fretting the fact that I didn't get to purchase one... But today, when I went to the cosmetics department, voila!!! It was available!!! I didn't have second thoughts in buying it as well!! And what's more, it was a little cheaper than the retailing price in Japan! XD

I had such a fulfilling "shopping" time. XD it was really stree-relieveing, coming from duty... I was supposed to finish at 5pm today but I got out aat around 6:20pm... *sigh* so it was really a therapeutic shopping session I had after that. XD

I'll post the pic of my iTouch as well. XD I purchased this last January 22, 2010... I had been wanting to buy an iPod for sooooooo long, and was saving up for an iPod nano coz the price was getting lower now that newer models are coming out... But when I went to canvass the prices, I saw that the difference in the price with an iTouch with the same memory capacity (8GB) was only P2,000! Yeah, it's not a very small amount, but if I were to compare the possibilities of the two gadgets with their functions, the iTouch was definitely the better choice! So I gathered up all my savings and bought it the following day. Hahahaha! No, it was not an impulse buying. I had been thinking about it for more than a year! It was the right time. XD

Ok I talked too much today. ^_^ To compensate for the past months when I didn't post anything at all. Hehehe. ^_^

I had a great day today! XD I hope the coming days would be fine, too... Even if they're filled with exams, exams, exams and exams... And pressure, pressure, pressure, and did I mention pressure? XD

First entry for 2010... (>_<)

I just realized my last blog post was on May 2009... @_@ That's almost a year ago!!!

Well... It just shows how busy I have been... T-T and still am.

Our exams have been going crazier and crazier by the week...

I actually don't have much to talk about... So I'll just post the picture of my beloved stuffed toy Chip, who (haha I know it's not a living being but I'd just like to call it like one) gives me a feeling of comfort when I come home and rest in my bedroom. ^_^

I'll post more often this year... I hope. ^^

Advance Birthday Dinner with Mama~ \(^o^)/

I had my advance birthday dinner with my mom today. \(^o^)/

We ate at a Japanese restaurant called "Nonki."

I ordered "Barachirashi," which has lots of small pieces of different kinds of sashimi (raw fish) on top of sushi (vinegar) rice. It was so~ delicious. \(^o^)/

Here's a picture of the food. XD

My birthday is actually tomorrow.

I'm turning 23.

But unfortunately, I can't spend time with my loved ones tomorrow because...
I have to be in school before 8am (we have a stupid punch-in system)...
We can punch out AFTER 12nn for lunch break.
I have to go back to school by 1:30pm.
My duty in the hospital is from 5pm to 7pm.
I can go home after that, but not for long... Because it's my turn to have my 10-HOUR DUTY in the hospital from 9pm to 7am the following day.

See?

I have like... just 3 hours to spend with my mom tomorrow.

Darn.

This is the reality of life.

Birthdays don't matter anymore.

Hahaha! XD

I'll just think I'm getting one step closer to being a real adult. \(^o^)/

Happy birthday to me~

Hahaha. XD

Doc, I'm sick...

There's no such thing as auscultation of the head. I know that. XD

My new schedule is killing me.

When I get home (usually around 7pm to 8pm or later), I eat dinner and fall asleep coz I feel so tired.

When I wake up at around midnight I have to work on something. Writing history, PE, and clinical formulation, or make a report, or study for the small group discussion... I just don't run out of things I HAVE to do.

I'm not complaining, I love what I'm doing. It's just making me physically exhausted right now and I wanted to share it. ^^

Love the story~ T-T

I just love it. T-T

Watch it here -> http://www.cmsite.co.jp/?anime/lastmessage/

The story is about a guy who lost his wife a year ago, and is suffering from a heart disease himself.

His daily routine is to go home and listen to the last recorded message from his late wife on the answering machine, who used to call him to inform him that she'll be home late. He never erased the message so that he can hear her voice everyday.

One day, he went to the hospital for his regular check-up, and suddenly wanted to hear his wife's voice so he called to hear the answering machine. He left a message just for the heck of it, not expecting any response. When he went home, he was surprised to see another message left in the telephone. Noone except he and his wife knew their telephone number... So who could it be?

To his surprise, it was his wife, leaving him a message in reply to his own message. Instead of being frightened by the strange happening, he felt so happy to hear his wife answer his messages, as if she were alive again.

From then on he regularly left messages on his answering machine, and looked forward to listen to his wife's reply as he got home.

His happiness didn't last for long, because his doctor told him that the pace maker in his heart has reached its limit. If he wants to go on living, he has to be hospitalized. He refused to stay in the hospital, because he wanted to be home, where his memories of his wife stays... Even if it will mean his death.

As soon as he reached home, he pressed the button to listen to the message in the answering machine. And there his wife was, saying "we meet again at last."

~END~

I love these kinds of touching stories... T-T
