BOLERO - A Movie OST!!!!

I just found out that Tohoshinki's next single (To be released on Jan.21, 2009) is the theme song of a movie entitled "Subaru" starring Kuroki Meisa (REAL BEAUTY). YEHEY!!! CHUKAHAMNIDA OPPA~!!! \^o^/

The movie is about a girl who is chasing her dream to become a ballerina.

No wonder Bolero sounds SO GOOD. Movie themes for Japanese movies are usually really really great. They make it so dramatic. BOLERO is one of those kinds of songs. You guys should check it out. ^^

And oh...

An update of what happened to "Mirotic," which was banned for people under the age of 19 in Korea... (as I mentioned in my previous post). Guess what happened. They had to make a "clean" version. And here's the difference: Instead of "I got you... under my SKIN," they changed it to "I got you... under my SKY." ........ WHAT THE????? And I noticed a few other parts being modified as well. But... My goodness. What a change. I feel like their song was being insulted and murdered by those stupid censors board people.

Anyway, if you guys wanna hear what those two songs I mentioned above sound like, I'll post it next time when I have enough time to upload stuff. ^^

For now, I have to go back to studying...

WHAT THE!!!

After judging that Rain’s Rainism was harmful and detrimental to youths last week, the Commission of Youth Protection has acted again by labelling DBSK’s Mirotic, Solbi’s Do It Do It, etc in the same category as Rainism. This has created an uproar once again in Korea which takes effect this week.

According to sources, the Commission of Youth Protection usually examines around 100 songs every month to see if they are harmful or detrimental to youths in Korea. But this is the first time that their scope is targeted specifically towards popular mainstream singers in Korea right now. In the last month, among the 110 songs that they have examined, 32 of them were Korean songs which was a new record in recent years. The reason for banning Mirotic was the same as Rainism in that part of the lyrics were inappropriate.

The ruling will come into effect from 4th December with the song being banned from playing on tv or radio before 10pm. The Mirotic album will have stickers affixed to them that indicates “unsuitable for people under 19 years old”. The song lyrics will have to be modified if they are going to perform this during concerts or events. Action will be taken if any of the above are flouted.

Although affected singers and their companies have expressed that they will adhere to the ruling, they can’t fathom the reasoning behind the ban.

Industry critics feel that this will only heap more misery on the already suffering music industry. And one wonders if the “19-only” stickers restricting the sale of affected albums will actually have any effect. DBSK for example are already done with promoting Mirotic and are actually in the midst of promoting their follow-up song Wrong Number. With album sales already exceeding 300,000, it also means that most of their fans have already gotten the album already.

A Disney-friendly Korean music industry in future? Hope not.

TOhoshinki will be in NHK Kouhaku Utagassen this year!!!

OH MY GOD!!!

This is the most prestigious music program in Japan, which is once a year, on December 31st... This is a program EVERY JAPANESE looks forward to at the verge of the turn of the year!!!!!!!

I've been watching this program every year since my first December 31st on earth!!! (of course I don't remember those early ones, but I do remember watching it every year... Except for 2 occasions, when I transferred to the Philippines... And NHK World stopped showing Kouhaku... It caused some riot for Japanese people outside the country so they brought it back..... So I've been watching it since!!! IT KILLS ME IF I DON'T SEE IT!!! SERIOUSLY!!! It's like my year didn't end right!!!)

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY TO HEAR TOHOSHINKI IS PART OF IT!!!!

It's so hard to schedule the 24 hours of a day to get everything done.

I wish there were 48 hours in a day.

My boys won 5 awards, yes...

They won: Auction Style, Mobile Popuarity, Auction Netizen Popularity, Overseas Viewer’s Choice and Album of the Year.

But...

They didn't get the best male group and the artist of the year. T-T Big Bang got them...

Well...

I guess that's coz Big Bang was more active than TVXQ this year...

TVXQ has been back in the Korean scene for only a month and a few weeks now, so getting 5 awards (including ALBUM OF THE YEAR) is quite something I think. :)

I can proudly say I voted for the Overseas Viewers' Choice! \^o^/

Chukahamnida to TVXQ for all the awards they got. ^^ They truly deserve all of them. ^^

Mirotic Repackage

Yes, they are having a repackage album.....

What's a repackage album? Well, it's the same album with a few more songs reserved by the publisher/company added onto it so that the fanatics will buy both versions... In other words, profit-making. Hahaha. XD

Well, we fans do fall for that 'coz we love our idols very much. We just want to have every single album they place in the market.

As for me, though, I'm in a financial pinch so I can't buy this one.

Hero Jaejoong & Han Hyo Joo Lead Roles In "Heaven's Postman" Drama

Rough Summary:

Han Hyo Joo and Hero Jaejoong made an appearance (a conference maybe) this week to show the Korea-Japan collaboration in the upcoming drama, "Heaven's Postal Worker/Postman". This confirms them as the leading actors in the pool of cast.

The joint venture of Korean and Japanese writers who wrote for popular Japanese drama series and the director of hit series such as "I'm Sorry I Love You" and "Snow Queen" shown on KBS 2TV.

Hero Jaejoong, being popular in Japan as a singer, together with Han Hyo Joo and Yoon Suk Ho, PD of the 'Spring Waltz' fame (in both Korea and Japan), will be focusing the broadcast in Japan.

Hero Jaejoong will play the role of Heaven's Postal Worker who delivers messages to those friends or family members who are nearing death until he sends the message to the wrong person . Jaejoong will play the lead role aside Han Hyo Joo.

This time, the actors are currently working on their script practice and rest assured by next month they will already start the official shooting .

I haven't posted here for a while, huh? ;)

Well, that's coz I'm enjoying my vacation~ Hahaha!

Just yesterday I followed the dance steps of Mirotic (see video below).

It's been a "tradition" for me to follow the dance steps of the carrier singles of TVXQ!'s albums. Not the whole song, though, 'coz it's too confusing to follow them with all the changes in formations and stuff... Although I would have loved to do the whole song one day. :) I usually follow at least the chorus part (where the dance steps can be seen really clearly), and other parts with nice dance steps. :p

Yes, I followed:
1. Tri-Angle - Chorus steps
2. Rising Sun - Chorus, a little part in between (Changmin's solo part), and bridge (Yunho and Yuchun rapping part)
3. O.Jung.Ban.Hap - Chorus and dance break of the PV
4. Jumon ~Mirotic~ - Chorus and bridge... Which is basically almost the whole song 'coz their dance steps are repeated several times for the chorus. :)

Ah~ It feels really nice.....

No, I'm not good in dancing. I'm just good in following the steps. There is a difference there. ;)

WHAT A DAY!!!!

Ok let me start by telling you guys how UNLUCKY I was the past weekend.

On Saturday (10/11/2008) as I was getting ready to study, my hypogastric area started to hurt. When I went to the comfort room, tadaaaaa! My 12days late monthly visitor had finally arrived. And if you're a girl, you know how it really HURTS when it comes late. So I was sort of incapacitated for the whole day.

Then came Sunday, when I could have really studied my a$$ off. But, well... You can read my previous blog entry.

So today I had my first set of final exam. HELL. I was totally awed by the questions. You really should have literally ate up the whole book and flipped the pages in your stomach so that you can answer those questions. I mean seriously, you should have memorized every tiny detail in your notes/book/whatever studying material you have to be sure you answered the right thing.

When I came home I checked my answers... And stopped after finding 3 mistakes. I didn't want to disappoint myself further. Whew. And to think I have 3 more exams to go.

1 laboratory exam, which covers Microbiology, Parasitology, and Pathology (10/14/2008) -> Yes, tomorrow.
1 more lecture exam on seizures, diabetes mellitus, and thyroid disorders. EVERYTHING about it. (10/16/2008)
And lastly, ORAL exams... Which covers EVERYTHING, and we have no idea what they're gonna ask us so we need to know EVERYTHING to be able to answer all those tiny little detailed answers to all questions. (10/17/2008)

DANG.

Oh well.

For now, I'll listen to music.

I'm a musicophile afterall. :p

First entry~ But I'm gonna RANT!!!

I'm sooooooooooo freakin' tired of studying!!!!!
I feel so bad coz I study so hard yet I fail... T-T
My teachers, friends, and mom tell me I should never think negatively... But what can I do??? I always rise and try again, just to fall yet again!!!

It really really hurts me...

And now I'm really scared...

But I really really have to study...

Have you ever tried this: You are trying so hard to study but NOTHING gets into your head. NOTHING. You know you need to read a lot and remember a lot but you just CAN'T. You try to loosen up, relax a bit and go back to studying, but the same thing happens. You just look at the clock showing you HOURS have passed and only a FEW HOURS are left for you to study BUT YOU JUST CAN'T CONCENTRATE!!!

I really don't know.

I'll just do my best tonight!!

It's finals week! I'm sure there will be a rainbow after the storm!
